17 Things About Me
On my 17th Birthday, my mom put together a Facebook post I will never forget. She wrote 17 things that she loves about me, which in my opinion, perfectly describe who I am as a person.
She wrote,
This baby girl is 17 today!!! How has time passed so quickly?
Seventeen things that I know and love about Kate.
1. Her smile lights up a room!
2. She has her Daddy's eyes!
3. She dreams up ways to leave the house and socialize - safe to say she is not an introvert!
4. Can you say straight A's (and that is with really hard classes)!
5. Her drive and ability to "get it done" is amazing!
6. She recently tried for the first time (and fell in love) with all things pumpkin flavored!
7. She is currently obsessed with Kendra Scott - and got three KS necklaces for her birthday!
8. As expected, once she turned 16 and got her drivers license, I only see her once every few days.
9. She drives too fast - sometimes - thank you Life 360!
10. She loves to decorate for every holiday - right now there is a life size pumpkin pillow on her bed.
11. She loves to burn scented candles, much to the chagrin of her sensitive-nosed Dad.
12. She loves people & people love her
13. She is one of the fastest Chick-Fil-A baggers in the south!
14. This year she bought all of her school clothes at Goodwill - because she likes big, soft, used t-shirts.
15. She has a sweet, kind heart and cannot stay mad at someone for long.
16. She surrounds herself with good, kind friends (see photo)!
17. We could not have asked for a better "caboose" for our family!

I may not love Kendra Scott as much as I used to, and I certainly drive under the speed limit these days; however, to be loved is to be seen, and my mom certainty sees me!
